Who We Are
Food for Thought was founded on September 20, 2024, by Armoni Toles, a proud Indianapolis native and recent Ball State University graduate. After earning her master's degree in social work, Armoni felt called to give back to the city that shaped her. Driven by a passion for service, she launched Food for Thought with the vision of recreating the “village” mindset—raising awareness about food insecurity, hosting community fundraisers, and donating nonperishable goods to individuals, families, and organizations across Indianapolis.
At Food for Thought, our motto—For the Love of People—reflects the heart of our mission: to provide nourishment to the mind, body, and soul.
